The aim of the program is the observance of the legal requirement and the conditions - prerequisites of hygiene and food safety by the enterprises, in order to ensure the quality of the products - services and the protection of the consumer.
The seminar on Basic Principles of Hygiene and Food Safety is determined by EFET, which approves and controls the implementation, conducts the examinations and issues the certificates. The training is carried out by an instructor registered in the Register of Trainers of EFET.

- Introduction to food safety
- Microorganisms and their characteristics
- Food poisoning and prevention
- Personal hygiene and behavior of the food operator
- Working environment
- Cleaning practices
- Common pests and their control
- Food hygiene legislation
At the end of each seminar the participants will receive a certificate of successful attendance. This certificate is now a necessary condition for participation in the mandatory exams of EFET. Upon completion of the program, the trainees are subject to examinations by EFET, in order to be evaluated and to receive the official certification of EFET. EFET determines the place and time of the exams.
